Dropped Call - Log output below

Postby gtcleaves » Wed Jun 07, 2006 11:25 am

I'm getting a lot of dropped calls for one particular user on my small (4 person) Asterisk install. This person is using a Cisco 7960 (SIP). I've tried changing the ZAP channel to see if it was a problem with the port on the Sangoma card, but the dropped calls continue. Here is the log file, can anybody clue me in?
Code: Select all
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] chan_zap.c: Exception on 15, channel 4
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] chan_zap.c: Got event On hook(1) on channel 4 (index 0)
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] chan_zap.c: disabled echo cancellation on channel 4
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] channel.c: Didn't get a frame from channel: Zap/4-1
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] channel.c: Bridge stops bridging channels SIP/202-48a6 and Zap/4-1
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] chan_zap.c: Hangup: channel: 4 index = 0, normal = 15, callwait = -1, thirdcall = -1
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] chan_zap.c: disabled echo cancellation on channel 4
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] chan_zap.c: Set option TDD MODE, value: OFF(0) on Zap/4-1
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] chan_zap.c: Updated conferencing on 4, with 0 conference users
Jun  7 10:12:26 VERBOSE[31946] logger.c:     -- Hungup 'Zap/4-1'
Jun  7 10:12:26 DEBUG[31946] app_dial.c: Exiting with DIALSTATUS=ANSWER.

That line indicates that Asterisk got a hangup from the telco.

I see. Is there anything that could be causing Asterisk to misinterpret this signal? Since this is happening repeatedly only to this users it seems unlikely that it is a telco signal.

I'm using a Sangoma FXO card. zttest gives me this:

Code: Select all
Opened pseudo zap interface, measuring accuracy...
--- Results after 24 passes ---
Best: 100.000000 -- Worst: 99.975586 -- Average: 99.986776

Any thoughts? Is this measuring my real ZAP channels?

Now my user is telling me that she hears a lot of interference just before the dropped call.
