Dahdi recompile failing - says I do not have kernel source

Postby chucknb28409 » Tue May 29, 2012 9:34 pm

Hi,

My DAHDI 'make' from latest files failed and states that I do not have kernel source installed, yet I do I have

running> rpm -qa | grep -i kernel

gives>
kernel-headers-2.6.18-164.el5
kernel-devel-2.6.18-164.el5
kernel-2.6.18-164.el5

I am running CentOS 5.8
Asterisk 1.8.12

downloaded dahdi-linux-complete-2.6.1+2.6.1

Installed on machine. Is there something else that would give me this error?

The uname command show the same kernel in your last post?

If yes maybe you deleted the Kernels folder in /usr/src, so remove the kernel-devel and install again using yum.
