?????????????

You are joking arnt you ??

All makers make POE handsets. Any Business class handset will be POE.
It will be only the cheapest of handsets that wont be POE.

PoE Phones..

Postby e4strategies » Sat Sep 19, 2009 9:17 pm

Most companies that are making phones that play nicely with Asterisk have models that support PoE.

Some of my favs are:

Cisco Small Biz > http://bit.ly/Cisco-VoIP

Aastra > http://bit.ly/Aastra-VoIP

Polycom > http://bit.ly/Polycom-VoIP

All of the lines listed above have models that support IEEE 802.3af PoE - Polycom has a few models that don't support auto-sensing PoE and require an additional cable to enable the function. The phones (IP 501/301) also have an option for Cisco proprietary PoE.

As for where to buy... I may be biased but I think that .e4 Technologies is a pretty good place. :)
