Firedialer port for Chrome

I am wondering if anyone has considered and/or is working on porting Firedialer over to Chrome. Being a Google Apps user I tend to use chrome more than any other browser. I do miss Firedialer though. Has anyone heard any rumblings of a port or has anyone considered doing this? My forte is not coding but I would be willing to help.

Lastly, I guess the name would have to change to something like "chromedialer" or "ChromeSwitch"... lol

This is on the todo list, or if someone from the community would like to write a plugin we would happily feature it on Developer Central.

If you haven't already upgraded to 5.0 you will be happy to see that Chrome is on our supported browser list and the interface runs great under that browser.

Any progress on a FireDialer for any current browser versions? Chrome would be the browser of choice, but even the Firefox version seems to have been abandoned.

The Firefox version has not been abandoned and works fine with the latest version of firefox. If you have issues installing or using the plugin please contact support so we can look into it.

We dial from the browser without firedialer or any other add in. We simply use the:<a href='sip:... and it works from IE, FireFox, and Chrome...

Pretty simple with no add-ons.
