SMB 5.5 Changing presence / status programatically

SMB 5.5 user presence or status is now much more comprehensive and effective than previous versions. Does anyone have sample code for changing user presence or status programatically? I know that XMPP is an option however given that status now directly effects call rule flow I would like to see this added to the Switchvox API so that we can easily incorporate custom sub status names, and app driven status changes using a single methodology.

We have all the APIs done and included in Switchvox for changing a user's presence. We are working on getting those published to the live Developer's Central Wiki. When this is done we will update this thread and point you in the right direction.

I have added the Presence API documentation to the Extend API Core Methods page. http://developers.digium.com/switchvox/wiki/index.php/WebService_methods scroll down to the bottom and look for "Presence".

I will be adding the documentation for all the other new and changed API methods ASAP.
