Is it possible to delete a phonebook?

Hello,

I wrote a script to create a phonebook with all users sorted alphabetically. I now want to erase the existing phonebook to replace them, but I have not found how to do it.

Know you have a solution?

Rather than trying to change the basic phonebbok, I will add a new phonebook will be easier to manage and that should solve my problem. (I recently discovered the product and did not see this option)

The default phonebook for an extension cannot be deleted, but contacts within the phonebook can.
User-created phonebooks can be deleted, but only after all entries have been removed from it first.
Currently, there is no option to delete a phonebook and have it also remove all the phonebook entries at the same time.

For those instrested. I have a VB program that will take either existing phone book entries or paste from an Excel sheet to add phone book entries to any other extension with an existing phone book.
If internal, you can elect to "skip self" so who ever's phonebook wont include themself.

This will also allow you to see "all" information of a phone book entry as well as additional numbers.

This program will also:
Add DID pasted from an Excel sheet
Remove Phones
Get and update Globle variables
Add analog stations
Add or Update outgoing call rules all at once: ie. remove "9" and prefix digit. Add special interpertations for other call types: ie Dialing "0" for operator or 1+ext for intercom paging or 5+ext for direct to voicemail transfers
View current calls with a 3 second refresh rate and be alerted when "No" calls.
Run continuse Debug. Automacitally removes files greater then a set threshold. Run debugs only on hours of operation and on specific days.
Add a "presence" subtype to any or all extensions.
