Incoming Caller ID

We have a Digium Switchvox SOHO 3.5 system and we just activated caller ID on our analog telco lines. Only about 1 in 20 calls are coming in with a name or number displayed .... Most are still "unknown" .. because it works sometimes (doesn't matter which line the call comes in on), i am not sure what to try....any idea?

I think it may be a timing issue ------ is there any way to set the answer ring delay?


Doing some repetitive testing, the only time the caller ID work, was when the system seemed to wait until the middle of 2ng ring to pick up

In more recent versions of SOHO, I think you can set the Ring Debounce to something other than the default which might not be working for you. Have you tried testing each of your analog lines with an analog phone to make sure Caller ID works consistently separate from the SV?

Thanks for the response. We have tested all the analog lines with a phone and caller id shows up consistently.

I've tried adjusting several of the advanced settings, but I do not see an option for "Ring Debounce".

There's an option for "Battery Debounce" (set at default of 16) but that appears to be for detecting hangups?
