Creating Public Phone Books

Hi

Is it possible to create standard phone books in the admin console and publish them to users for use in the Switchboard? So that there is a standard series of phone books for the users to choose from.

One of my reasons for doing this is for peered PBXs. If I have two peered SVs, I want them to act as much like one system as possible, and the fact that I can't get a directory for the other PBX is really bugging me!

Any ideas?

Can't be done. Possibly v5.0, possibly

It can't even be done from the API. I've already put in a feature request.

When do we expect v5.0 to be on the horizon? Is this going to be any time soon?

Definite release date is unknown. Suspect end of Feb or possibly early Mar. Hopefully getting beta very soon.

well, since we know this feature isn't in 5.0.x, any rumors of it coming in a future version? I'd REALLY like to be able to share phonebooks between peered systems.
