ConfBridge Clearing

Postby bargs » Tue May 15, 2012 6:53 pm

Hi folks!

I've setup a conference call via confbridge. I unplugged power from the phones (participants), disconnecting them and never having the chance to terminate gracefully with Asterisk. Asterisk thinks that the users are still active and never clears the channels.

When phones are powered back up, they are bombarded with data as channels are still open from Asterisk. The phones can join the same conference again but with different channels assigned to them. Some of the phones, budgetone, aren't able to handle the stream resulting in garbled audio.

Is there a way to find out and clear the channels when a participant just "disappeared"? Is it an option in ConfBridge execution or a parameter to set in confbridge.conf?

Thanks for the help.

Try setting rtptimeout.

Thanks. That seems to do the trick.
