Queue Member info panel borked

Postby StephenJ » Fri Jun 08, 2012 12:43 pm

Since we updated to 5.5.3, we have been noticing that the queue member info popup in the Queue Panel is wrong. When you hover over the user in the Queue panel, Calls Taken is wrong. Currently, I have one rep that has taken several calls but it says she has taken 1. Another says 0 calls taken but he has definitely had more than that. This seems to be a new bug with 5.5.x. We skipped from 5 to 5.5.3 so I don't know if it was in the previous minor releases.
Anyone experiencing this?

This issue was resolved, in a less than comfortable way though. Today, the Queue went belly up. Apparently that part of the system just freaked out and hung causing lots of problems. Mostly switchboard related as we could still receive queue calls, just not transfer, or pause or any of the other queue operations. The rest of the system was normal. After a full reboot, the queue lockup was resolved and now the calls taken in the queue panel is correct. Apparently, it was something in the upgrade process to 5.5.3 that eventually caused the queue process to die. After working with support on it, they said to always make sure you do a full reboot after doing a point release upgrade just to make sure everything loads correctly.
Hope that tidbit helps someone else.

We've been having numerous issues comparable to this since the upgrade. All phone functions appear to be working just as they should and queue's seemingly route calls properly. All of our issues come from the Switchboard not updating properly as calls progress. The most common issue is that a queue call will still show as being offered to someone after they've accepted the call and sometimes it will stay that way long after they've completed the call. This causes lots of problems with being able to transfer, hold, and resume calls as well as for supervisors being able to properly monitor member statuses.

I've rebooted the the PBX a couple times since the upgrade and this has not helped the issue. We've tried loading the switchboard on all browsers and see no difference. There's no workaround to force the switchboard to update properly, it just eventually comes out of it.

There have been numerous other minor odd issues, but nothing that happens as consistently as our problem with the Switchboard. Any ideas on what or how I could try to get this worked out?

We have also seen this on a couple of customers systems where the Queue panels are either reporting incorrect information or simply not showing live queue data. I have two instances of this in separate customer installs, one an upgrade from 5.1 and the other a fresh 5.5.3.2 configuration.
It has been suggested that deleting and recreating the queues fixes this, however I was unwilling to take this path as creating a brand new queue replicated the behaviour.

I've run into this problem once since the latest update as well. Rebooting the system fixed it for now.

I also had a problem where deleting an extension caused the system to become unresponsive to the admin interface and the switchboard interface though calls continued. I had to restart the software (not reboot) to get it going again.
