No such command 'originate'.

how can I enable "originate" command for using it from Asterisk 1.8 CLI??

I had tried to do it from /etc/asterisk/manager.conf by

write = originate

but still not working


please suggest me something

did you tried channel originate? Do you have the alias file in /etc/asterisk, by doing make samples?
