Seeking turnkey Asterisk installation in Lancaster, PA

Postby dynamicnet » Sun Apr 30, 2006 4:10 pm

Greetings:

We are seeking a consultant or vendor who can provide a turnkey Asterisk installation in Lancaster, PA with the actual implementation work to start towards September / October of this year.

We are a very small company looking to have a two (2) to four (4) line installation. We will not exceed five (5) users; and will start off with three (3) users.

One of the employees (users) works from a home office already using Vonage three days per week, and from the main office two days per week.

Another employee is on call, and requires a telephone number to follow that person (we currently use kall8.com for a toll free number along with days of the week, and times of the week to ring to the main office or the cell phone of the employee).

We would like the set up to be able to follow the employee; and all phones to show if a given employee extension is in use no matter the physical location of the employee.

We plan to start off with normal PSTN connections to start (other than the employee's home office already on vonage); and exapnd into VoIP later on.

We are utilzing a business DSL line to the Internet with a static / dedicated IP address.

We will need auto-attendant, fax to email, conference calling, ability to transfer calls, voice mail with the ability to pick up either at the office or remotely. Music on hold would also be nice.

We currently have a very small eithernet LAN.

I'm not sure what other information to put into an RFP.

Thoughts? Questions? Recommendations on Digium partners / vendors?

Thank you.

Take a look to the SPA 9000 by Linksys, it is a small Asterisk device that gives you up to 16 sip extensions and 2 FXS included ports, with all the normal Asterisk features( caller id, conference rooms, voicemail, ACD, etc.)

Regards,

Roman

Greetings Scott:

Imagine putting up an employment post in a forum to have some one post their own employemnt offer. It is very bad taste; and extremely unprofessional in my opinion.

We specifically stated, Asterisk.

Thank you.

Asterisk Based

Postby avoteam » Wed May 10, 2006 12:56 pm

Actually not in poor taste, our system is an Asterisk based appliance. It is a turn key solution that can be bundled with phones and support.

It combines a number of custom tools and a GUI interface. We can combine this with profesional services that will preconfig the unit so that it can be up and running quickly after it arrives or we can install it remotely for you. All of the features that you indicated are simple to configure so this should be a fairly easy job.

I guess maybe I wasn't clear in my post.

If you are interested, I can assist you or our sales people can contact you.

I posted because this is a solution to your request for an Asterisk based solution.

Hi Scott:

I apologize for the misunderstanding.

There was nothing on http://www.finite-tech.com/ to indicate the PBX is Asterisk.

Thank you.

I know our marketing people don't get it, Asterisk is a household name to those of us that do VoIP all day.

Let me know if we can assist you.
