CDRS - detailed information required

where can i find detailed info on CDRS please? eg. fields available and descriptions, how to interpret call direction from CDRS?

how do you ascertain call direction? eg. incoming, outgoing, internal calls?

looking at the output, it seems to me this could only be done by maintaing an extension list?

I have cdr data exported from a database,

in the userfield column it has one of

IN, OUT, EXTFW - 140 and ININ;IN

I assume this is something to do with the direction of a call

Unfortunatly it seems that CDR is not consistant across versions of the Asterisk.

Have you made any progress decoding the data as I have the same problem.
