Installing Asterisk Now, Fuzzy Screen

Sorry i have made a post in the wrong section at first i didn't see the Asterisk Now section.

Hi all,

This is my first post here so please go easy...

I am trying to install asterisk on a machine with Asterisk Now. I boot from the disc, the start screen comes up and I press enter to install. But after a minute or so the screen goes fuzzy like a TV that hasn't been tuned.

I can install Asterisk Now on the same machine on a Virtual machine in Microsoft Windows, but not a complete install for the whole machine.

Anyone got any ideas please?

It sounds as if *now doesnt support your video card/monitor combination.

What you are proberly seeing is the info passing up the screen corrupted.

It starts off fine then goes funny, I would test it on another machine but I don't have one spare. I have tried a different monitor still get the problem. I also download Asterisk Now and burnt another copy just in case but again I still get the problem.

Hi,

I had the same issue. I was able to run anaconda in the text based setup (there is a command on the first graphical splash screen on setup)
